Ar[t]chaeology: Convergence of Art with Sanxingdui Competition

Updated: Oct 13, 2022

The International Art & Design Competition takes place in the unique and mysterious environment of Sanxingdui Museum Archaeological relics site in China.

The aim of the competition is to contribute to the revitalisation and internationalisation of the Sanxingdui Art, Design and Crafts industries, by discovering new art forms of storytelling, new artists and fostering their talents.

Open to artists, designers and art practitioners. For Schools, let Art Teachers lead and guide the children and parents to record the drawing process and paint their own version of the unknown past at Sanxingdui. You can write a story book with drawn illustration, create your own fonts based on Sanxingdui and even paint the Sanxingdui City as if was still standing in 2022! The creative artwork is not limited to just paintings. Set your mind free.

See above an introduction video and a series of short videos below to inspire your school and children. There is also a link below to a registration form to be filled in and sent back to us with your completed art works to info@urbanhybrid.co.uk
