QILIPING CONVENTION CENTRE

Design and construction of a museum and convention centre in the heart of the eco-tourism region of Emeishan in Sichuan. The design concept was to combine local culture and materials with a contemporary design which nods to the regions history and vernacular.

 

The result was a striking but fitting addition to the local scenery giving amazing panoramic views of the valley.
