FORGE HAMMER PATIENT HOTEL

Design and planning approval for the creation of new Patient Hotel on the site of a former public house.  The scheme comprises of a single building, 7 storeys high plus a basement level, containing a total of 60 general accommodation rooms of 3 types, amenity spaces and associated uses at ground and basement level.

This relatively new building type consists of accommodation and facilities for family lodging in association with the surrounding hospitals in particular the Manor Hospital nearby.  Other residents could include patients from wards or departments within the hospital who are able to take care of themselves e.g. cancer patients or physiotherapy patients who require daily treatment and even patients staying before or after an operation or procedure.
